Ursula Morrow: Vocals
Hailing from a musical family Ursula Morrow is no stranger to the music scene. With her mom Mary Morrow a prominent Gospel singer, musician father and early Gospel choir background there is no mistaking the sheer intensity and heartfelt power in Ursula’s versatile vocal ability on stage. Among her many successes she has sung the national anthem for the Bridgeport Bluefish, worked as a session singer, opened for Freddie Jackson, The Delfonics, The Blue Magic and performed in countless ct clubs including the legendary Toads Place. There is nothing quite like seeing Ursula Morrow live. Her soulful yet poetic vocal chops leave most tapping, cheering but mostly just wanting more Ursula.
Tom Hayduk: Guitar, Vocals
Tom Hayduk has been playing electric guitar since he was 11. Inspired by his uncle, Toms passion for blues driven countrified southern rock with a little Hendrix mixed in began. Coming from a family of musicians with his brother and both sisters and their spouses all musicians family jamming became the norm for get-togethers. If having Steven Tyler come over to his house in 1966 wasn’t enough, Tom later got to jam with southern rockers Lynyrd Skynrd, Charlie Daniels and even shook hands with Stevie Ray. Toms style is a combination of all his early influences but his first encounter with true love for the electric guitar was an old Albert King album.
Robert Ortner: Bass, Vocals
Robert Ortner was born in New Jersey and grew up in New York City and Connecticut. Gigging and recording over 30 years in the Tri-State NYC Area, New England, South Florida and the Caribbean. Primarily a self-taught musician, playing both electric and electric-upright bass, acoustic guitar Tabla drums and all manner of hand percussion. Experienced in computer-based recording and music production, writing and recording Ambient music for yoga and meditation. website www.XL-12.com
Jim Swain: Drums, Vocals
Midwest veteran rocker, jim swain moved to ct. in 2001. Jim spent the 90’s fronting the Pittsburgh area band, The Works. Jim is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, live sound/studio engineer, songwriter and producer. He is the owner of Main St. Music, a music school and production/recording studio located in Monroe, CT. Jim has performed all over the northeast with numerous groups like Father Nelson & the Backsliders, Quicksand Planet, King Creole and numerous others.
